Bike Rodeo at Wildwood School Mt. Lakes!

Miles of Safety Covered!

The students of the Wildwood School had a great day on Thursday June 15, 2017. "There is nothing better then riding my bike", said James a student at the school. Sgt. Gil Benetiz the school resource officer from Mt. Lakes PD, took the lead and worked to create an awesome event that included multiple stations including the demon driveway, ride on the road, helmet fit and find your balance.

Safe Kids Northern NJ was on hand to support the helmet fit station and provide any child with a new helmet if it was ill-fitting or damaged. Volunteers from the Senior Class at Mt. Lakes High School showed their support with volunteering at the event.  A good time was had by all!
