This is a good time for some household safety checks!

1. Change your batteries in your smoke and CO2 detectors.

2. Look for hazardous materials and dispose of them.

3. Discard expired medications.

4. Ensure your disaster supply kit has an adequate amount of water, food, flashlights, batteries and blankets.
