Car Fit For Mature Drivers! Great day for all !

Northern NJ Safe Kids / Safe Communities teamed up with the New Vitality Program of Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Hospital and Lenape Valley High School to bring a Car Fit Program for Mature Drivers to the Morristown Medical Center Health Pavilion in Rockaway New Jersey.

Under a beautiful blue sky, a dozen members of the New Vitality Group reviewed how to adjust their car's amenities to fit their physical attributes. Within the 30 minute hands on interview the staff adjusted seat belts, rear and side view mirrors, the seating and steering wheel position and discussed road safety.

Jessica Mulcahy the Health Educator of New Vitality, said "her clients all enjoyed the day and were surprised how a simple fix could make such a great improvement within their car".
